 We are looking for a Legal Trainee to join our “Tax Controversy” team in the İstanbul office.

 ·        Bachelor’s degree in law with a strong academic record from a reputable university

·         Excellent command of written and spoken English and Turkish

·         Internship experience in a law office and/or legal department is a plus

·         Desire to work and specialize in tax and fiscal law

·         Strong research skills

·         Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications

·         Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

·         Commitment to hard work

·         Ability to learn new concepts quickly

·         Ability to work with strict deadlines, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

·         Ability to work in a dynamic office environment and within flexible working hours

·         Ability to work independently as well as a solid team member 

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Providing assistance during the tax litigation process

·         Assisting in preparing and reviewing petitions and other legal documents

·         Conducting legal research related to tax and fiscal law

·         Following up new regulations and informing the team

·         Assisting in the translation of legal documents in both Turkish and English

·         Assisting in providing legal advice for tax controversy and litigation issues

·         Providing assistance during the tax inspection process

·         Filing and tracking legal document

·         Providing support to the team on administrative matters
