GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to be responsible for the financial management in regards to the growth and development targets of our company named Dimin Madencilik whose headquarters is located in Ankara which serves in the sector of metallic mines.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

• Having at least 10 years of experience as a CFO or high rank financial management,
• Graduating from the related departments of universities,
• Preferably having graduate degree (preferably an area such as MBA or finance),
• Preferably having experience in the sector of metallic mines,
• Having excellent analytical, financial analysis and accounting skills,
• Having powerful leadership and communication skills,
• Having good communication and problem-solving skills,
• Having high level Excel and financial modelling skills,
• Being able to manage cash flow and control cash risks,
• Being able to represent the company in terms of taxation and legal compliance,
• Having advanced level of English comprehension.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Managing the financial planning and budgeting processes of the company, reporting regularly to the upper management, providing support regarding the long-term strategies of the company,
• Preparing, following up and submitting to the upper management the weekly, monthly and annual payment and collection tables; supporting both the domestic and international cash flow and collection management of the group companies,
• Creating the optimal financing structure, providing cost effectiveness and regularly evaluating the financial performance of the group companies,
• Valuating and managing the financial service providers such as banks, financial stakeholders and external relations and following up the financial analysis processes of the mentioned organizations. Providing financial leadership in the processes of strategic cooperation,
• Strengthening the financial resources of the company, determining financial targets, following up the budget and cash flow,
• Determining and implementing the tax strategies of the company, benefitting from tax advantages and providing tax compliance,
• Preparing the financial tables of the group companies in accordance to the financial reporting standards, evaluating the financial health of the companies by analyzing financial reports,
• Performing the follow up and planning of the company’s accounts, the checks and promissory notes of the company and customers and the related financial transactions; planning daily, weekly and monthly payments; preparing and conveying instructions to the banks,
• Planning the short and mid-term fund/cash needs; organizing the cash flow; reporting the daily, monthly and annual cash flow tables and determining the strategies regarding financial resource management,
• Developing the strategies of defining and reducing financial risks; creating effective risk management strategies based on the risk profiles of group companies; making risk and opportunity analyses and making effective decisions in financial planning.
