We are looking for a Cost Controller teammate in our Finance&Accounting department based inDilovası factory.

Job Description

• Product Costing: Calculate the cost of manufacturing each product, considering all direct and indirect costs.
• Detailed Cost Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses of production costs, breaking them down into raw materials, labor, and overheads. This involves tracking and reporting on each element, understanding their impact on the overall cost structure.
•  Cost Reduction Strategies: Develop and implement effective cost reduction strategies. This might include negotiating better rates with suppliers, optimizing labor efficiency, and reducing waste in the production process.
• Standard Costing: Implement and maintain standard costing systems. Regularly update standard costs to reflect changes in raw material prices, labor rates, and other cost drivers.
• Variance Analysis: Perform variance analysis to understand the differences between actual costs and standard costs. Investigate and report on the reasons for these variances, providing actionable insights.
• Quality Maintenance: Ensure that cost reduction efforts do not compromise product quality or safety standards. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to balance cost and quality.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements that can lead to cost savings. This might involve investing in more efficient equipment, optimizing workflows, or reducing energy consumption.
•  Impact Analysis: Analyse the financial impact of pricing decisions. Monitor sales and margin trends following pricing adjustments.
• Reports & Analysis: The Plant Controller is responsible for preparing various financial reports and conducting analyses based on these reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics. Master degree is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in positions such as cost analysis in the manufacturing industry
• He/She will work 4 days in Dilovası Factory and 1 day in Kadıköy Office.

• Good level of English enabling free oral and written communication
