QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Excellent command of written & spoken English
• Effective communication skills
• Must have knowledge of core tools (APQP-PPAP-SPC-MSA-FMEA), flow chart and control plan
• Knowledge about measuring quality controls
• Good technical drawing reading skills
• Must possess very good knowledge of GDT drawings, dimensioning and gauging/measuring practices
• Advanced user of MS Office applications, especially proficiency in Excel
• Well organized, result-oriented, pro-active & a good team player
• No military obligation for male candidates
• Min 3 years similar work experience
• Strong and proven audit experience

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manages process quality team activities
• Preparation Control Plans and Measurement Inspection reports for New Product/Part Introductions
• Maintain Control Plans throughout the life of the part
• Effectively prepares suitable treatments to remove causes of non-conformity
• To collect and/or analyse data for continuous improvement activities and the reduction of rejects
• Responsible for developing; managing and overseeing all onsite operations related to quality inspection and containment activities
• Ease use of appropriate problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action
• Determine when process stability and capability studies should be performed on actual processes.  Review and evaluate results.  Proffer changes to processes based upon findings and perform follow up to verify effectiveness
• Aid production engineering team for current production or new production introduction in terms of process control points, parameters, and related FMEA revisions
• Apply appropriate use of statistical techniques and Measurement System Analysis tools
• Attend and perform quality audits to evaluate process conformance

We are looking for a teammate who will work as a “Quality Control Engineer” to be assigned to DEZEGA SP.

DEZEGA is a world designer and manufacturer of breathing equipment with a closed circuit. It produces breathing apparatus on chemically bound and compressed oxygen for mine rescue teams, for escape of miners and workers, for escape of civilians in case of fire and smoke. Nowadays DEZEGA products are being used in more than 50 countries. Over 500 thousand self-rescuers are guarding miners worldwide this very moment.
