ABOUT THE POSITION

AKSA Power Generation is looking for a BESS Project Design Engineer who has strong experience in that process.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • With no obstacle to work at the location of Aksa Power Generation Kavacık Office/Istanbul.
  • Having a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electrical – Electronic Engineering and Electronic & Communication Engineering,
  • Having minimum 4 years experiences in energy storage systems or relevant departments,
  • Good understanding and awareness of current BESS, renewables and de-carbonization technologies,
  • Good understanding and awareness of current Battery Energy Storage applications,
  • Proven technical ability in preparation of BoQ, technical specifications, project SLD’s and layouts, Capex- Opex models, feasebility on battery energy storage, renewable power plants and electric power distribution,
  • Advanced software-aided system design and grid integration skills (PSCAD, ETAP relevant power system design and simulation softwares) along with AUTOCAD, MS OFFICE softwares,
  • Knowledge in current Turkish and European Grid Codes and relevant regulations, also in IEC-EN standards related to design criterias of power systems,
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (Chines is plus)
  • Strong analytical approach and team player,
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • No military obligation for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The key duties of the successful candidate are;

  • Making software-supported project design,
  • Developing operation-based design templates,
  • Conducting system integration and network compatibility analyses,
  • Creating project-based energy management scenarios and architecture,
  • Preparing single-line diagrams and site plans,
  • Dimensioning system components,
  • Preparing technical specification templates,
  • Creating operation-based Capex – Opex templates,
  • To follow the design, safety and environmental standards regarding battery energy storage.
