With already more than 100 Employees, Técnicas Reunidas has set a permanent Operations Office in Istanbul from which it will not only develop engineering activities for projects inside Turkey but also for projects worldwide in collaboration with main headquarters in Madrid (Spain). In fact, in the first 5 months since Técnicas Reunidas İstanbul started, Engineering Activities have been developed from referred office for more than 40 different projects and proposals worldwide from 20 different countries, which stands as remarkable sign of work and workload stability.

Candidate will be part of the Electrical department, participating in international bids, FEEDs and EPC Oil&Gas, Petrochemical, Power & Water, Decarbonization and Energy Transition projects. Electrical department has the responsibility to design and to produce all the documents and necessary drawings related to electrical equipment (power and distribution transformers, medium and low voltage switchgears, UPS, DC chargers and batteries, electrical protections, SCADA system, emergency diesel generator, generator circuit breakers, etc.) and electrical installations (earthing and lightning protection, lighting, etc.) for the construction of the plant. The candidate will be assigned with a Tutor that will act as Coach during the internship and will guide him/her technically and corporately all over the process.

Specific Activities to be performed

• Working on the preparation of calculations, calculation reports, technical studies, specifications, standards, lists of cables and loads, data sheets and other documents of an electrical nature, under the supervision, where appropriate, of the person in charge of the specialty in the Project.
• Knowing and applying all the existing documentation and procedures, both referring to the procedures of the Electrical Department, as well as the corporate documents or procedures that are applicable.
• Supporting in the generation of deliverables from Smart Electrical (SEL) when the project requires it (modeling of electrical equipment, customization of reports, reference data management). Supporting in the internal and external audit processes in order to comply with the Smart Electrical implementation plan in the projects.

Educational & Skills Requirements

• Recently graduated or currently undertaking studies in Elektrik Mühendisliği (Electrical Engineering), Elektrik-Elektronik Mühendisliği (Electrical-Electronics Engineering ), Enerji Sistemleri Mühendisliği (Energy Systems Engineering), Kontrol ve Otomasyon Mühendisliği (Control and Automation Engineering), and Elektrik Enerjisi Üretim, İletim ve Dağıtımı (Electric Power Generation, Transmission and Distributionand) with preference in ITÜ  (Istanbul Teknik Üniversitesi) and Boğaziçi University due to proximity to offices (Maslak Area).
• Valuable Knowledge and/or Training in Smart Electrical Plan (SEL)
• Logical reasoning ability.
• Spatial reasoning ability.
• Teamwork
• Motivation for technical work
• Valuable software knowledge of the electrical area (ETAP, SKM PowerTools, SmartElectrical, Dialux, etc.)
• Desirable advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Softwares (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc).
• Minimum B2 English level
