We are looking for an Intern Civil / Structural Engineer.

With already more than 100 Employees, Técnicas Reunidas has set a permanent Operations Office in Istanbul from which it will not only develop engineering activities for projects inside Turkey but also for projects worldwide in collaboration with main headquarters in Madrid (Spain). In fact, in the first 5 months since Técnicas Reunidas İstanbul started, Engineering Activities have been developed from referred office for more than 40 different projects and proposals worldwide from 20 different countries, which stands as remarkable sign of work and workload stability.

Candidate will be part of the Civil department, participating in international bids, FEEDs and EPC Oil&Gas, Petrochemical, Power & Water, Decarbonization and Energy Transition projects. Civil department has the responsibility to design and to produce the all necessary documents, drawings, MTO’s and structural calculations related to industrial buildings, pipe-racks, equipment platforms, foundations. The candidate will be assigned with a Tutor that will act as Coach during the internship and will guide him/her technically all over the process.

Specific Activities to be performed

• To develop and perform civil and structural calculations, technical reports and studies, specifications, lists, data sheets and others documents related to this discipline.
• To understand and apply the project specifications, international codes, departmental procedures.
• Calculation of foundations and structures (metal / concrete) trays / pipe supports.
• Equipment platform design with clips to equipment. (circular platforms, head, horizontal equipment) and miscellaneous.
• Calculation of foundations and structures (metal / concrete) Industrial buildings.
• Design and calculation of underground facilities (rafts, ditches, manholes, buried pipes, ditches, etc.).
• To provide the input to the developing of drawings and 3D models behalf designers. 

Educational & Skills Requirements

• Recently graduated or currently undertaking studies in Civil or Structural Engineering with preference in Technical universities close to the office (Maslak Area).
• Desirable advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Additional knowledge in structural software (StaadPro, SAP2000, ETABS, MATHCAD, IDEA CONNECT and similar).
• Capable of undertake civil and structural calculations.
• Türkçe and English professional working proficiency level.
• A growth mindset. A willingness to have a go and learn new skills in a dynamic team.
• Organized, capable of working well within a team and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
